The COST Action CA21151 launches its 2nd call for Dissemination Conferences Grants (DCGs). DCGs are funded as part of the Action CA21151. The research network itself is funded by COST European Cooperation in Science and Technology.
Dissemination Conferences Grants (DCGs) provide funding for high-profile events or conferences that are not organized by the COST Action. Members of the Action from COST or Cooperation participant countries are expected to attend these meetings to disseminate the Action’s achievements.
Call characteristics:
- Dissemination Conference Grants will help Action members to connect with reputed researchers in the area as well as to disseminate the results derived from the Action.
- The 2nd DCGs call covers the 3rd Grant Period from February 2025 until August 2025, and during this period DCGs should be completed.
- A maximum of 2,500 euros per grant for face-to-face conferences or 500 euros for virtual conferences can be reimbursed for members’ attendance at approved Dissemination Conferences.
Deadlines:
- Application Period: 18th February 2025 – 31st August 2025 (The call will be open as long as the budget is available with the last deadline 31st August 2025).
- Applications will be assessed within 30 days from the submission.
Documents for interested applicants:
- DCG Application: The applicant encodes a grant application by logging into e-COST profile and clicking on the Grant Applications tab. The applicant can select the DC grant from the page ‘Apply for grant’ and has to fill in the application.
- Dissemination Conference Grants Application form
- Copy of the abstract of the accepted oral presentation.
- Acceptance letter from the conference organiser committee.
- Other documents required by the Action:
- Letter of motivation and expectations
- Applicants must also upload their CV in their e-Cost profile.
- Letter of support from the applicant’s supervisor or host institution (if applicable).

DGCs financial support
A Dissemination Grant will cover (but not necessarily cover all) costs for economy travel, accommodation, and meal expenses for the selected candidates. Dissemination Grant grantees must make their own arrangements for all provisions related to personal security, health, taxation, social security, travel insurance and pension matters.
